Macie Finkelstein, MD
Macie Finkelstein graduated from Yale College and continued her studies at the University of Massachusetts where she received her MD. She then went on to New York University Medical Center where she completed her residency in ophthalmology. Dr. Macie Finkelstein had been practicing general ophthalmology for over twenty years in the office of Elliot Finkelstein MD, PC. She recently joined The Boston Eye Group in February of 2008 specializing in the Anterior Segment/Glaucoma.
Dr. Finkelstein has special interests in ocular oncology and oculoplastic surgery. Her current research includes soft tissue changes following implantation with metallic foreign bodies of varying composition and the use of protective eyewear in raquet sports.
She is also a dedicated member of the following organizations; The American Medical Association, The Massachusetts Medical Society and The American Academy of Ophthalmology.
